This is a Felyne, a small monster within the Lynian classification. Don't let the cute face fool you, Felynes are resourceful creatures that are more than fit to survive in the wilds of the frontier leading to them being found all across the world. They are so intelligent that they even have their own language and cultures, making them easy to get along with humans. As such, the Hunter's Guild often employs them to do official work under hunters.

These brave little warriors are known as PALICO!
