“And we’re live.”
The recording began with a girl backing away from the camera. Her silhouette blurred as she moved, but came into focus as she centered in frame. The room was well lit, lining her figure against a dark background, with nothing around to distract from her presence.
She was young, but stood with the poise of a lady. She had long hair that was even darker than the room around her with brilliant streaks of green in it that folded in a giant ponytail sitting on the right side of her head adorned a large Hot Pink hairclip in the shape of the Letter F on her ponytail while also sporting a second hairpin on the left side of her head with the motif of a gray and white hamster. The girl wore what seemed like some sort of a school uniform complete with a pink bow cutely tied around her neck. Over that outfit, though, she wore a puffy, zip-up hoodie that sported three colors; Black on top and Light Gray on the bottom, contrasted by a Neon Green stripe that cut just beneath her arms to split the two shades.
“EYYY!”
The girl was quickly joined by a boy who looked about her age but was noticeably larger and more stout than she was. He sported a short sleeved overcoat matching the girl’s hoodie that accentuated his broad shoulders and thick arms, giving them ample room to breathe. He wore pants that were loose fitted with a similar three-toned pattern to the girl. Blue in the back and White in the front, separated by a Green Streak that went from his hip to his knee like a V.
The boy also featured black hair worn much shorter and much messier, looking akin to a bird nest made out of barbed wire. His thick bangs were bunched up against his forehead in a way that made them appear like a circular saw. The longest strands gleamed an Electric Blue and, with one pointing up and the other pointing down, almost appearing as if it had formed a letter S on his forehead.
His shoulder knocked into hers and threw her off balance when he snapped into the frame. The Camera locked onto his face as he wore his best smile.
“I’m Scolden!” The boy said, pointing to himself with his thumb.
The girl made it back into composition, pushing against Scolden’s shoulder with her right hand. “I’m Fabrica~” She announced, using her left hand to make a peace sign over her eye.
Scolden and Fabrica then centered themselves in front of the camera.
“I bring the muscle for the hustle!” Scolden said, turning his shoulder to the camera to pump his left arm. He braced his forearm with his right hand, flexing his bicep at the camera.
Fabrica took her hands and created a box using her pointer fingers and her thumbs, extending her arms as she closed her right eye as if she were fitting her own frame around the camera. “I see the details that prevail.”
The two then turned toward one another and reached out with one hand, before the both spoke at once.
“Together, we give you Sculpted Fabrications!!!”
They broke the handshake.
“Haha, that was a good one~” Scolden said, rolling his shoulders as he stepped out of center.
Fabrica stepped forward, closer to the camera so that it focused on her . “That’s our routine we’ve been working on to build an audience.” She explained with a softer tone than she used when she was declaring her name as she looked into the camera with a cool expression. “We’ve been keeping the DANGIT a secret like you asked but, ever since the malfunction…”
“WE TOOK OVER!” Scolden shouted out from behind Fabrica, who suddenly clenched her eyes shut at the interruption. “And we’re gonna do our best to keep everything you built alive!”
Fabrica held silent for a moment before opening her eyes again to look into the camera as she went on.
“Sigh… Anyway, we don’t yet know how to get the DANGIT to fire back up again but I was able to get it connected to the company mainframe at least. So, if you can access that… you’ll see this.” Her tone softened and her eyes drifted away from the camera. “But, for now-“She started, looking back into the camera. “Our goal is to raise money so we can get enough power to turn it back on.”
“We won’t let you down, Dad!” Scolden called out.
“No. We won’t.” Fabrica replied. “That’s all I have to say for now.” She said, leaning to her side so that the camera would zoom out and look to Scolden who was still standing behind her. “Do you have anything?” Fabrica asked, slightly off screen.
“Just one thing.” Scolden said before jumping up into the air and performing a backflip before spreading his arms. “HOO-WAH!”
Fabrica leaned back into the camera. “He still does that.”
“Hey! I LAND THEM now!” He called out from behind her.
“Logging out, Dad.” Fabrica said as she reached toward the camera.
